Feather an edge

Feathered edges live in a new Stitch Effects section, along with Hand Stitch.

Stitch Effects is a new section in the shapes menu. Feathering lives there. Turn it on and stitches travel past the edge by a random amount, so a hard boundary can soften into the next color or into open fabric. Hand Stitch has moved into this section as well.

Balance runs from the left edge to the right edge. The middle feathers both edges, and the slider settles there when you pass close to center. Raggedness is how far the stitches extend, in millimetres. On a fill, Include hole edges feathers the edges of holes as well as the outside.
