Sequencer
The sequencer is one of the most useful tools in Ember. It allows you to not only reorder the stitching sequence of shapes but is also the place you manage your uploaded images and access more advanced properties on each shape.
Let's go over some of the tabs you'll see at the top.
Shapes
The "Shapes" tab contains each of your individual shapes, giving you a quick view of their positioning as well as their color. Quickly knowing their position in the sequence as well as the color is very important, as it allows us to optimize the stitching order of our embroidery by doing our best to logically group colors together into one sequence.
Each individual shape in the sequence also has an associated settings button, it looks like a little gear. Clicking that will display general information about the shape like it's stitch count, number of control points, and even allows you to name the shape.
Colors
The "Colors" tab is a place that makes it even easier to optimize the order in which shapes will get stitched out as it shows you all layers combined by color. This is a great place to reduce the number of color changes.
Images
The "Images" tab is simply where you can manage the order of your images. Images will always appear behind shapes but you can atleast control their order with eachother here.
It's also a place you can upload images, although you can do that in a variety of ways like dragging an image onto the canvas or copying it and pasting it onto the canvas.
